Every few years the AOF website outgrows itself.
As a website developer myself I'm always aware of problems that the site has with regards to design, navigation or even the ordering process itself. However, working by myself (boo hoo) it's not always been easy to address them as they arise. With the arrival of Covid-19 in March 2020, it was time to finally sit down and assess where changes and improvements needed to be made.
At the time of writing this post, I'm only 24 hours from officially launching the site – albeit in it's first phase, and a whole nine months since it's conception. You'll see huge design changes by now, even if the range of products currently live is very small (basically zero on the day of launch 03/12/20). Naturally this will grow. Quite quickly in fact.
The best way to acclimatise yourself with the new layout is to have a good look around. Click everything.
I'm hoping this more mobile friendly, easy to search and browse version will keep us going for another solid few years. There's plenty of space here for growth, and that's exactly what I have on the cards for you.
